I am constructing a couple of BC-348 dynamotor packs. I've been surprised to find there are two versions of the 28 VDC dynamotor pack. One type, intended for the B/C/H/O/R etc. models uses a 75 turn No. 15 wire coil for filtering the dynamotor 28 VDC input and a 300 turn No. 30 wire coil for the high voltage output filter. The other type, intended for the J-N-Q models, uses presumably the same type choke coil for the 28 VDC dynamotor input and two chokes for the high voltage, one on the dynamotor B+ and one on the dynamotor B-.

Anyone know what the specifications are for the B+/- choke coils for J-N-Q version? The manual just says they are is 12 ohms. Now, the 300 turn coil I made measures about 6 ohms, so assuming the same size wire is used that would indicate about a 600 turn coil - which seems excessive.

Thanks
