Very interesting find! Is it as broad as the scr274n ? Got any interior shots?

They were unhappy with their radios?
I've been working on a post for the German
FuG-10 EK receiver. Have one on my bench
and am very impressed with it. Barn find.
I call it "the German SCR-274N." 3-6 MC.
Biggest problem was mechanically frozen parts.
Penetrating oil and patience fixed that.
Had to change one resistor to get the BFO
working. If anything, the set Is TOO
well-built. Must have been monster expensive
for something which was "expendable."
It's even "modular" in that you can disassemble
the set into thee sub-chassis for easy repair.
I have it running on 12 V fil (you can select
12 or 24 V.) and 90 VDC batteries.
The 90 volt draw is a tiny 6 mA. The external
speaker has an LM-386 audio amp powered
from the 12 V buss. It works very well.
My only complaint is it has no AVC, but seems
tolerant of strong signals.

I am seeking the SK transmitter to mate with it,
along with the EL and SL Longwave pair,
but not for $500 each.
Too close to retirement to "mad money."
Need to make sure Kay and I can eat the
good cat food, not that nasty dry stuff. ;-D
I do have some decent trade material.
More on this on down the log...
