How about Aquadag resistors and silver paint/ Krylon/silver paint
capacitors?
I did this several years ago with a summer science program and is worked
reasonably well,
Made a phono oscillator that kinda worked.

I must have a variation of the Trans-Midge radio because i didn't note
"excellent selectivity and remarkable sensitivity" and i looked in vain for
features that were "Feature Packed". It is however, really cute, and
fortunately this one is not soldered with glue.
The conductive glue topic interests me quite a bit so i'm going to order 3
varieties just to play with, see what they're like. The PSARA antique radio
club in Seattle was having a "crystal set building contest" and i kind of
thought a crystal radio "printed" on one sheet of paper might be fun. It
would have a spiral coil and wiring drawn on the page with conductive ink,
with i suppose taps for so-called tuning. But i have enough other pressing
concerns right now, so this one will stay on the drawing board. But i still
am going to try out the conductive ink and glue.
