Just now I wanted to look up something today from "Handbook on Japanese Military Forces TM-E 30-480".
I found it in two places.
One, a Google-labeled return on search "Handbook on Japanese Military Forces".
Select that return and then on next screen, click "READ NOW".
You get a 2-page horizontal format. 2 pages, the left and right as the book opens, are presented on your
screen. There is no download wait. There is a scroll bar at bottom; you can scroll thru the file or select a
single page to start with. I think the format and speed of access is very good indeed, but i don't care so
much for the side by side 2 page display.
Or: Over on the right of the screen, after Google search of the term above, is a box about the Handbook.
If you click "READ NOW", you proceed thru 2 Captchas, then you can download the file. Whole file is 69 mb;
the radio and signal light section is 3.4 mb. You can SAVE or PRINT the file to PDF of course from here and
doing so, choose to save only the 3.4 mb section of interest.
Or: there seems to be several people also offering the same download. I am careful about such offerings and
i'd guess in this case, they probably just snatched it from Google's work.
Very basic information, power and frequency numbers, photos of the most commonly seen, that kind of thing.
OH, just for curiosity, i checked also the "Handbook on German Military Forces". Looks like pretty much the
same story as above. Just took a brief look. You might be less than happy with the scans of some pages.
