So Mike, is the one i photo'd, with the caution text on knob skirt, was this variant particularly
for signal light, or is this variant also legitimate for a 1929 Navy aircraft radio ?  
Actually, i can ignore the caution, for my purpose, altho the ME-1 manual does state that the
finals are a bit overdriven, in order to get the power output they wanted.
