Thanks, Ken. I was thinking a choke would be one of those big 10 or 15 H chokes, which 
are truly heavy. As it is, i think i am going to use a CT rated power transformer, not a
CCAS service one, using the full end-to-end voltage instead, as the CW duty cycle is rather
low. I have probably 10 of those oil caps, 4 uFd 2000 V, which, good God, i think i have had
since the late 1970s A.D.  Whoa. Time to fish or cut bait, i think the saying goes.
