[ARC5] [Milsurplus] Duracell Coppertop batteries

We had a discussion on this a while back when I asked if anyone knew of any batteries that did not leak.  One comment was that when Mallory owned the Copper Top line they were very careful to make them leak proof but after that division was sold the new outfit that acquired it was not so committed.  I have found that the CVS version of the Copper Tops are really bad leakers.  Since then I have found alkaline batteries that have not leaked even once.  They are Radio Shack AA and AAA alkaline cells, still available from the company website.  At one time the price was pretty attractive, with free shipping for orders over $20, but they do not have such a good deal now.

In any case, I try to remove the alkaline or carbon zinc batteries from any piece of equipment that is not in use.
