Absolutely classic story, Mike Morrow, and a story that deserves to live on.

I recall many years ago, watching a TV news report, i suppose it was GIs coming back from a patrol, and one guy supposedly
had a transistor radio playing a song with lyric that went, "The world is a bad place, a bad place, a terrible place to live/
But i don't want to die". ( Song was "Reflections Of My Life" by Marmalade, ca. 1960s early. ) But now, being quite a bit
older and more skeptical, and maybe a bit wiser, i wonder if that was filmed with the sound patched in by a reporter. The
press was not exactly pro war at that point in the story. Could go either way. If they were returning from a patrol and in
safe territory, not in Indian country, maybe one guy did have a portable radio tuned in to AFRTS.

BTW, and OT, i am puzzled now by this: the movie "Titanic" had very good ratings. ( I may be the last North American to
not have seen it. ) So how did the producer of that highly rated movie turn out such trash as "Avatar" ?
