[ARC5] Related Question Maybe - Re: 4-course radio ranges

That’s a new one to me. I have some various old frequency lists and this band wasn’t assigned to any aviation use, as far as i am aware.
I am wondering if it dates to WWII, when the Civil Air Patrol enlisted lots of private planes and civilian flyers for coast patrol. I read a
couple books on this and some unusual frequencies were used, but those were all LF.
Maybe more on this subject later, on the books referred to.
