[ARC5] Dynamotor Questions

Run the dynamotor on DC as it was designed for. Halfwave DC, or anything
else will essentially destroy the DIRECT CURRENT motor.
Having noted same in the prop pitch motors, DC MOTORS, that have been
hammified and run on 24V AC. Those were once the premier method of building
a rather powerful rotator, as they were cheap.

No one else weighs in?
The dynamotor isn't smart enough to care, DC is DC, but....you are getting
RMS power, so the dynamotor will be running slow, half power, is that right
?
Which may be an advantage for long life, in a receiver situation.
I can't think of why this question would come up though. Big computer type
lytics should be cheap and common. At least, they used to be. Thinking back
now...the big cans were mostly low DC, like 10 volts working. Ones with 35
volt rating were not so common.
