[ARC5] Fair Radio pulling the plug.

Well put, Joe and fully agree.  Now our houses are full of 'consumer 
electronics' spewing RF garbage to the extent that even if there 
_/were/_ SW stations to listen to, they'd have to be across the street 
to break through the noise floor.

Man, I miss those days of listening far into the night for distant 
signals....sigh...

And how loved going through the Fair Radio catalogs looking at all the 
neat military gear.  Largest thing I ever got from them was a heavy 
power supply for my GRC-9 set.
