[ARC5] 24vdc power

Folks,
Just get a good regulated power supply like the several I have here:
40V at 50A or 50V at 40A, cannot remember which. If you are trying to run
anything that needs more than 40A, I recommend reconsidering running such.
Sort of like the Dynamotor supply I saw this past weekend at Shelby, the
power leads were about 4-O copper. Something one should avoid attempting to
use unless the vehicle--Tank, Ship, Aircraft it was used in is available.
We are working on "solid state" dynamotor replacements using switchers and
filters to greatly reduce the load on one's supply, and the original whining
dynamotor can still be installed for demonstration.

Anyone want one of the stack of power supplies, contact me and arrange to
come and collect, with, of course appropriate compensation. 19 inch rack
mounted believe most are Lambda's, and they are of expected weight, IE:
IRON.
Cheers,
Robert

Nice job.

The problem is where does one find big iron these days? The surplus houses
don't have much anymore. Even if they had it the shipping costs are
prohibitive. I guess you can find the transformers at hamfests.

larger SLA or flooded batteries, and switchers too, the price increases more
than proportionately ;) It was actually cheaper for me to buy some of the
components for the brute force PS than to buy batteries (and switchers).
