Some questions about the A.R.C. Type 12 :
1. The C-22A control box for the R-15 receiver, why do I not see this in my bunch of Type 12 manuals, date 1956 ?
2. It looks like the only tuning control box for the R-10 broadcast band receiver is the C-24 multiple receiver control, right ?
3. ( I asked this question here some years back, but forgot what the reply was. ) Many years ago, I was offered a bunch of
the VHF receivers of ARC Type 12. All had been converted and as I remember, had a local tuning disc scale just like the
274N, ARA, ARC-5 receivers. How was this done? I looked at the exploded view in my Type 12 manuals, but they don't
show any gear linkage that could drive a tuning scale installed in this 'snout' position of the Type 12 receiver. But I seem
to be pretty certain that's what I saw; set up for local tuning and local frequency indicating dial. I had no interest in VHF
receivers at the time, so I didn't buy anything. The fellow had about 5 modified receivers.
