[ARC5] [Milsurplus] Old surplus catalogs are always fun

I was amused to go into a real, flightworthy operational USAF KC-135A back around 1975 and see that the same indicator used with the BC-788 was still in use in that aircraft.  I recognized it from the Fair Radio Catalog.  If anyone wants a copy of the KC-135 pilot's manual page that covers the use of that equipment I'll scan it and send it.  It warns not to use that altimeter in the US, for obvious reasons - you'd be jamming UHF TV. 

I bought a NOS APN-1 from G&G in the mid-70's and used to apply 28 VDC power to it and see the black line the signal produced on CH15 on my old B&W TV set.
