Many years ago, members of one of the milradio/
boatanchor reflectors (don't remember which)
recounted being the maint. tech for 191s being
used for NDB service. They didn't like the "smaller"
(i.e. under 100 lbs) AC power supply as they would
not hold up long in continuous service.
I think "Boatanchor Bob" was one of them??
Too many years...
On 630 Meters, the state of Maine is on-the-air
with (IIRC) WA1JAS, Mike, using a BC-375.
Have heard him in Texas a few times, but never
made it back to him. I've been told others have
used the 375 on 630M CW (including me).
Have also used the ATD there.
