There are good reasons to hate MS but I find Google, Amazon, and Youtube more amoral than MS and MS Outlook. 
Based on my experience with online crook and the latter companies' reluctance to do anything that diminishes their
money take. 
I use Outlook and its simulator eM Client and have only had this accident once, and not to this degree.
I did note before that when I send emails from my phone, I have to be sure they launch, and do not fail and get stuck
in the Outbox until I much later notice.
