Subject: Re: [ARC5] Early PBY radios and equipment needed. GO-9, ATB and lots more
Hello, Taigh.
I have a complete (less transmitter shock mounts)
ATB/ARB set, working on Channel "B" ("A" needs
module contacts replaced), with extra ATB tuning
units with boxes, dynamotor, control boxes
including the elusive Pilot's box, etc. in original
condition with all the connectors.
Think I have a manual.
I'll try to get it off the shelf and on the bench
in the next couple of days and take some photos.
If you find it acceptable, and if they will pay
the cost of shipping ( breath-taking these days),
I'll be glad to donate the set to the PBY. Will take
me until the end of March or early April to send
because I'll be recovering from surgery.
If by some chance any of your folks have a
Western Electric 20A receiver in good condition,
a trade would be nice. Always wanted one of those.
I do have half-a-GO9 on the air, but I'm afraid it's
a "keeper" I use regularly; y'all can have it
after I croak- LOL.
Don't scold me for the modded supply- it was stripped
when I got it. Cathode modulated and grid-block keying
without hacking the HF module. It's a sweet rig.

P.S. Do you know any responsible, funded groups working
on U.K. aircraft? A couple of nice things may need a home.
