[ARC5] Airplane question, but radio related

If you have an "N" prefix call and own an aircraft you
can probably get that call as aircraft I.D. number as
long as it is not already in use.

Jack, you are correct. PT is Brazil. The ICAO ident series follows fairly closely the international radio ident series.  It appears that a few countries have more iterations owing to the way they assign these tail numbers. Many use simply all letters and need more 4 letter combinations.  I think Brazil and other countries with expanding general aviation fleets are now using numbers. Not so much for air carriers.
