[ARC5] HV oil caps - keep or not ?

 I don't think the WW2 stuff used PCBs? It was just dielectric oil.Wasn't PCB something they used in the 60's?I know when it burns it creates dioxin, that;s why they banned it.
There is a whole college building near my QTH that was abandoned due to a PCB transformer fire in the basement. Its been there with a fence around it for 20 years. Crazy!

But there is another reason I try not to use them.  I feel there is a significant risk if there is a fire.  It is my understanding that if burned, PCB oil can produce some really nasty toxins that are much worse than the PCB itself.
