Dave and all,

The California Historical Radio Society is slowly building a military/naval
radio display section, going back to World War One. We have a
bought-and-paid-for museum building (7000 sq ft) in Alameda (CA). We get
estates and donations (slowly). We are (slowly) getting it all organized.
We are an all volunteer organization, since before 1974. We accept
donations on Saturdays. As Mark, WW2RDO said: "... think about just going
crazy and put together a cosmetically restored, non-working radio and just
donate it, no strings attached, to a worthy museum now while you’re around
to see it in the museum..." (We happily also accept working radios, too!)
