[ARC5] AM BCB Frequencies

Some AM stations will stay on the air because the FCC allows them to operate a FM translator station. This is one way they get onto the FM band.

There is an oldies station that I listen to, WHTX 1410kHZ.  They also transmit on a translator station, W264DH on 100.7 MHz. Most people listen to the FM station but I prefer the sound of the AM station. because I grew up listening to rock and roll on my 
portable 6 transistor AM radio.

Eventually the AM broadcast station will disappear as did the non-directional beacons on the LF band. Enjoy the while you can.
