[ARC5] [Milsurplus] RAX

I too have always liked the look of the RAX.  And in my set, I do use it 
on the MRCA CW Sunday nite net, using
the trick of using the -1 receiver as a Q-5er for the  -2 receiver. I 
also had a BC-652 for a while, and it also
is a neat receiver, and I think it may be a bit more selective than the 
RAX, but wound up parting with
it as it just didn't fit in with the rest of my collection.

One thought, though. The BC-348, BC-652, RAX unit 2, and bands 3 and 4 
of the ARB all use 915 kc as an
IF.  Anyone know of any others?

Would be interesting to know what led to use of that particular IF 
frequency.
