[ARC5] 6AQ5 versus 5763

I believe that the 6AQ5 was used a Class A audio power amp?  Was the 5763 ever used that way?  I believe that the ARC T-11 and T-13 VHF transmitters used the 5763, and I guess that means that it was used as an audio power amp.
