For general HF/ Vhf comms, nothing better than an HP 8640b. Caveat- plastic gears mean death..HP 8648 is a good choice, as is the 8657.The Fluke 6060 is ok.The 8640 is tops for receiver testing, with a low noise floor and 140 dB attenuator.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Scope and power supply are already in place, but too many options on generators on what's out there and what is sufficient for working on the SCR and AVT stuff. New or used, but I'd like to keep it under $300 total. Audio thru ?... Definitely don't need anything with a bus, as I'm manual only.CraigKF5JOT______________________________________________________________ARC5 mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/arc5Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:ARC5 at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: https://www.qsl.net/donate.html
