[ARC5] Audio Booster

Hi:

There are many eBay items if you search for "PAM8403 amplifier". There's also a PAM8610 which is a 2x15W version that 
runs on 12V (7 to 15 VDC).
The data sheet for the PAM8403 shows that it's a Class D amplifier with a max supply voltage of 5.0 VDC. There should be 
RFI filtering on both outputs (suggested ferrite bead + 200 pF cap).

I've been looking for a replacement for the Radio Shack 277-1008.  It was a hand held amplified speaker that ran on a 9V 
battery or an external power adapter.
