[ARC5] FW: Jeeps with Radio Equipment

The stock WW2 jeep was 6 volt system.
Willys MB used a PTO 12v gen mounted between the seats and two 6 volt
batteries in series in the back of the jeep to get 12 volts . Ford GPW
converted the entire electrical to 12 replacing the 6 v generator under the
hood with a 12v gen and a battery box between the seats with two 6v
batteries to get 12 volts.
I'm not sure what the power set up was on the the jeep that was pictured
or how they would have have got 28v to run the radios unless there were a
couple of 12v batteries in series stowed away in the back.
I'd seen a photo of what I think was a WW2 ARC 5 set up with an LM freq
meter in the back of a jeep at what I guess was a Navy airfield. And there
was someone operating the radios.
