The receivers are on the right (passenger) side of the jeep & I don't really think a receiver dyno would be visible from that angle. The units on the right in the picture (driver side of jeep) are transmitters & they aren't supposed to have a dyno mounted behind them.

There doesn't appear to be any dynamotor in the receiver on the far right.

Some more fun details in that photo....Note the non-NDT tire on the rear (improvise, adapt, overcome,,,as with the radios!). Also a PE-103 can be run off a 12 V supply of course..The receivers have no spline cables, probably fixed-tuned which would make sense at an airfield...
There appears to be a B-17 or maybe a C-47 in the distance. Also the "B-24" is actually a C-87 VIP transport. Note the windows in the bomb bay area...The photo info probably indicates it was "received" (rather than taken) in 1950...DunnoI guess Tehran was a hotbed of funny business in WWII with axis and allied folks running around, nodding to each other on occasion. Maybe a "Jeep" needed to be identified by the Russians as "American" if it wasn't already obvious...hihi
Long ago and far away...TimN6CC

Slightly over 10 years ago (June 2011) , there was a mention on this list of a photo of a Jeep with ARC's in the rear deck. At the time, they would have provided a link. Don't know what the link is now... Nobody seems to have brought it up... As a bonus, there's a B-24 in the background.
So, I'm attaching. It's about 89 Kb.
