I have the manual PDF for the ATR-5. It was manufactured for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) by Canadian Marconi Corporation for aircraft use.
Both the receiver and the transmitter cover 3 to 6.3 MHz in 2 channel crystal controlled configuration (mode is AM only), hence the screwdriver adjustments to tune the TX and RX resonant circuits according to the crystal frequency used. The transmitter is spec'ed to put out 16 W at 12.2 V and 22 W at 14.4 V. Interesting that the transmitter is designed to be able to load from 1 to 40 ohms. The dynamotor in in the cabinet with the radio, the external equipment is only a remote control box.

I haven't powered up my completely original, complete ATR-5 yet, so I can't comment on the actual performance at this time.
