Good information; thanks, Al !
The 24 volt easily mounted transformers I have are tapped outputs up to 24 volt
and I think, 1 or 1.5 amp.
The figure you mention, tho, has me thinking of the small AC adapters I have that
were used with telephony equipment. They do 700 vMa at 24 volts but don't have
really any provision for mounting, as they were contained in a plastic case.
