[ARC5] Recent auction

Mark is right, but I remain a member even though I’m not madly in love with ARRL. Without it, we stand defenseless against Corporate Wireless America and its insatiable appetite for RF spectrum. 

I consider it a National Security issue. Another Carrington Event or New York Railroad Storm, it’ll be us banging on our paddles and handling emergency traffic who’ll be part of the recovery effort. 

We are called Amateur Radio Operators, but most of us are not amateurs by any means.
