[ARC5] NDB useful range ?

We occasionally flew 100 to 150 miles out to sea south of Nantucket. From an altitude of 1000 feet we could get the high power NDB on Nantucket (TUK) from 75 to 100 miles out. 

WBZ Boston AM radio station much farther. 

The range of lower power beacons might vary from 25 to 75 miles.
