The Chief of Military History published a procurement and statistics
document in 1952 detailing WWII procurements for the US Army. It shows
206,753 SCR-536 radio sets procured from 1940-1945 inclusive...It did not
detail the manufacturer(s). It may take a little digging in a search
engine to find it, sorry I don't have a good link...:
*The United States Army WWII Statistics and Procurement*, Crawford, Cook,
Office of The Chief of Military History, 9 April 1952
