[ARC5] Old Timers Syndrome!

Hi,

When I was in my late teens i noticed that young peoples' (like i was)
memories were not nearly as good as they thought. And ye, that included me.

Now all of us have had so many experiences packed into our memory space
it is sometimes difficult to manage. That is the real problem. The glass
is overflowing. In my case there are so many memories and ideas they
have pushed the hair off from portions of my head!

We are above ground, muddling through life, still enjoying our military and ham vacuum tube radios, and electronics up to and including solid state circuits...

We’ll be okay, I’m told, as long as when we look at a 1625 tube and recognize it for what it is: a vacuum tube used in the finals of a MOPA circuit typical of ARC-5, SCR274N, and ATA transmitters largely used in WWII aircraft. Sure, our memory may not be as good as it once was. And yes we’re often slow. So what! We’re okay.... None of that means we have dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
