Oh...I thought this was interesting too:
Article accompanied by photo of part of a map used by the B-24 crew.
Map of Swedish waters with pencil written notations, like this:

RADIO AIDS
BROMMA      REC       TRANS
SEF                333       354
STOCKHOLM COMMERCIAL  704
SED  ( ?? 12 MI ?? NO RT? BROMMA  )  406

?? = I'm not sure the characters.
I thought this might be interesting for the topic, "aircraft LF radio equipment".
SEF and SED I assume are call letters.
COMMERCIAL would be, broadcast station.
