[ARC5] Signal Corps ACing of BC-348s

It is true that the Signal Corps had an AC
supply built for the BC-348 and converted
some of them for ground use.

Many years ago, I acquired a BC-348-R
which incorporated this change.  Out of pure
luck, the instruction sheet for the change was
inside the radio.  It was fragmented and brittle,
but I managed with effort to piece it together
and make a copy.

The document opens by saying:
"The following material describes an AC
power pack furnished by the Signal Corps,
and is the modification work order for
its installation,..."
It also speaks of acquiring parts to make
one's own power pack if not supplied
with the "Signal Corps pack."
