I'm really interested in this device! I do restoration work at the Nat Museum of WWII Aviation & we have some restored, fully functional Link Trainer equipment. We did a good bit of research when we started the project but THIS is news tous.
We also recently stumbled upon some photos of the Link Celestial Navigation Trainer's simulated star collimators thatwere used to train navigators on simulated missions. New info popping up a lot lately.

Looks like it was installed inside a Link Trainer operator's desk to work with the Automatic Recorder (the crab).

Obviously refers to the Adcock range, hence the A and N quadrants. Maybe a training aide? Kind if small for 200-500 kHz. A VHF Adcock? News to me.... hi!

Was the an actual A-N range antenna, or some kind of training device? Seems quite small.
