[ARC5] Electronic warfare avionics

I haven't heard a reference to the Walleye program in years. My
Father-in-law, now deceased, used to talk about it. He was a circuit board
layout engineer at Naval Avionics in Indiana[polis for many years. I
remember him saying that the video monitor used by the pilot to steer the
bomb was actually a Sony five inch TV set. It was small and was available
off the shelf. I suspect this was for the prototype and that if the bomb
ever went into production, another monitor was used, but maybe not!
