I agree with Hue. I have tried this, repeatedly, with both the 80 meter and the 40 meter
"ARC-5" receivers. Although it is very easy to implement, it didn't really make enough of a
difference to be worth the effort.
Where you need it most, with weak signals, it is pretty much useless. It works, barely, OK, for
strong ones, but in the final analysis, it is useless.
