And few things as aggravating as hearing that dynamotor unexpectedly load up and slow down abnormally as some HV bypass or electrolytic capacitor shorts HV to ground.

I love that sound.
My favorite is the DY-88. The dyno sounds a low "A" and the vibrator sounds an "A" an
octave lower. Reminds me of bagpipes and the drones....which I used to play before I got
RA.
