[ARC5] BC-453/946 connector source?

Not sure which connector you are referencing, Skip.  The one in the
receiver (J-1) is male.  The one in the removable drawer is female. I've
had good results by heating the banana pin or socket with a 100 watt
iron, and while still molten blowing out the solder using the sudden
pulse of high pressure air from an air gun connected to a compressor.
Use a dental tool with decent magnifier glasses to clean off the
wind-blown solder.  Wear good wrap-around eye protection.  You do lose
the silver plating protection, but in our normal indoor air conditioned
use of the sets it doesn't seem to be a problem.  In a leaky WWII
aircraft, that might not be the case.

If that doesn't get you going, I may have a scrap receiver drawer
somewhere out in the mess.
