Bill:

That is part of the later ARC Type 12 series equipment, and was NEVER part of the 
SCR-274N series nor of the Navy AN/ARC-5 series.

I believe I have at least a schematic of that receiver and I think I also own one of those 
receivers.

The power for that receiver was attached to the front. Is your front-panel still complete? Do 
you have a photo of the front? Ordinarily, there should be a big "snout" in the center of the 
front panel for power connections.

Also, those receivers never had a BFO either, but instead had a noise-limiter, nor did they 
have a dial.

Hang on for a day or two and I will eventually find the schematic.
