You're right: it is the faux R-25...and he just dropped the price to $200 now.

Gee...

I almost...almost...would tell him that I might buy it for all of $20.00. 

But first of all, of course, it is a BC-453, not an R-25/ARC-5, and it has been hacked. 

The front "socket" box for the front adapter has been torn out of it, the filaments have been 
(badly) modified for 12 V from 24V, there are too-long chunks of late-model wire leading God 
alone knows where or for what purpose, and the top cover is incorrect. Also many of the 
screws are missing. No telling what else has been done to it.
