I would second Ray Chase/InfoAge. Though I have yet to visit the museum
I've heard a great deal about it and know of several members of these lists
who are active with the group.
A few years back I had the privilege of donating an early radar receiver to
them. Something I had saved from the basement of an old radioman's estate
in '94 that was destined for the dump. Offered it on the milsurplus list a
time or two but only ever got a tepid murmur from Will Donzelli.
Then Ray saw it and contacted me immediately. He was quite excited as it
was the second receiver needed for a radar project at the museum. I was
happy to send it to a good home. Turns out it was part of America's first
radar system, the one before the 'Pearl Harbor' system. Never knew there
was an earlier set up, so I got to learn something out of the deal as well.
