That looks close enough to 415 for me. Your dial may be only a bit off, 2
kc, not 8 kc...and 
sure as heck not off 50 kc. As DaveJ pointed out, it is reading about 413
kc, although the 
cable running across it makes it a bit difficult to read accurately.

The reason I say ",,,may be a bit off..." is because the BC-348's IF may not
be exactly 915 
kc. Or the '453's IF may not be exactly 85 kc.

If I have this correct in my head, that COULD mean that the 2nd harmonic of
the '453 could 
be 996 kc instead of 1000, ...or some such.

There are simply too many combinations to be certain of what is causing the
dial error.

It looks good enough to me. I wouldn't mess with it as long as it works.
