According to my notes from F.W. Chesson (The AWA Review, vol. , 1992,pp. 69-89) CDL refers to Admiral Corp., Govt. Electronics Division or Belmont Radio Co.

I'd like one with plastic wiring to adjunct re-capping, etc. but I'm not that choosy. A receiver with front panel controls added is no problem. No requirement for dynamotor, either. But, while I'm at it... a question... This BC-348R is a plastic tag unit with a manufacture's code of CDL. MFP code is late 1945 and its in remarkable fine physical condition. But, who might CDL be...?
