Antenna Coil Galvin Part Number 24K47591 is used in the BC-746-(*) Tuning Unit for the BC-745-(*) Radio Transmitter-Receiver of Radio Set SCR-511-(*) for Channel 8 (3525 KC).
Reference TM 11-245 on SCR-511-(*) dtd 30 July 1943 Pages 130 and 133. Neither of the coils will work on the marked frequencies in a BC-611 because the latter set’s antenna is much shorter than the one in the BC-745. They will, however, plug in to them and probably work on some frequency range. The coil forms are the same.
As I wrote yesterday, all of the thousands of BC-611 antenna coils that I have seen have enamel insulated wire. And all of the hundreds of BC-746 antenna coils have SSC. Or SCC.

Does anyone recognize these? About 2 inches long including the 3 pins on the bottoms, about .75 inch outside diameter. Built in coil forms embossed 32A28963 on the bottom. Both have labels on the top.
One says ANTENNA 3525 KC 24K47591.
One says ANTENNA 3825 KC 24K35994.
I'm attaching pictures but I know some of the groups don't pass pictures through, so if you think you might want to see them but didn't get them via a group, email me & I'll send.
Thanks!
