The R28 is set aside for now waiting for the parts.

The oscillator at least runs and quadrupler and AF circuits also runs.

Unfortunately a VT-269 was leaky and I have to wait for a new one.

 

I now put my transmitters on the table.

One is T23 ( according to the bottom plate ) and the other has a tag plate
being a BC-950-A-400 with a stamp below it MOD. TO TYPE 310

Serial number is 829, no contract number or alike.

 

I recall that the mod was the addition of the modulator but can't find back
where I read that.

 

Of course both have been subject to ham mods...

One has a different ( read bigger ) connector on the rear, the other seems
to miss some parts ( expect canned capacitors ) and has extra wires but that
is just the one with the tag plate.

I think I can revive both but I miss the documentation for the BC-950-A and
the 310 mod.

 

Can anyone help me on that ?
