[ARC5] Command Set Coil Color Codes

I bought a couple of the 5853 (NOT 5883) from Fair several years ago that were described as 239 kHz BFO coils for the BCB radio.  My plan is to use the BCB radio as the IF for 1950s mobile converters such as Morrow, Gonset, etc.

I have not looked in the manual(s) but suspect the BFO coils run 5852, 5853, 5854, 5855 for R-23 through R-26.

Here is what I have figured out

239 KHZ BFO Coil: P/N 5883 Color Code Red
1415 KHZ BFO Coil P/N 5855 Color Code Yellow
85 KHZ BFO Coil Color Code Black or maybe very dark brown

7-9 MHZ Transmitter oscillator coil P/N 6032 Color Code Yellow

In addition to the responses from the group I took a look at an unmodified BC-453 I bought back in the early 80's and confirmed the BFO coil was color coded black.

Fair Radio still has some BFO coils, some transmitter MO coils and some 2830 KHZ IF transformers, all NOS.
