[ARC5] BFO Coil

One day I hope to get back to working on my GRC-9 receiver, after some airplane work and taxes are done.  But one of the items I need is a BFO coil.  The GRC-9 BFO operates at 1/2 the frequency of the 456KHZ IF and uses a three tapped coil.  I note that Fair Radio has some Command Set 239 KHZ BFO coils for sale and they are three tapped as well.
  
Can anyone hazard a guess or provide some actual experience if that coil can be tuned down to 228 KHZ?
