[ARC5] BC-453 On The Air

 Well, you could always try looking for digital signals in the ham band. ( you have to look with a waterfall. Most cant be heard with the naked ear) Occasionally I hear ham beacons and/or CW there, too.Unless you have re-capped the BC-453, It's probably not stable enough to get a good decode on digital.Even so, my re-capped BC453 needs a good hour warmup before it can do digital!

Someone posted that the NDB beacons are likely to be from Canada.How is you antenna oriented?
